Larkspur is a small town of around 200 residents nestled in the pine forests of the Rocky Mountain Foothills. Larkspur residents enjoy the safety and protection of Douglas County while maintaining a small-town government. Larkspur homes are often on acreage, but some areas have public water and some have private wells. Larkspur is known for its amazing views, The Colorado Renaissance Festival, Jellystone Park for family camping, and The Colorado Front Range Trail. The town has many shops, restaurants, and local business storefronts and is easily accessed from I-25.

The Colorado Renaissance Festival has been held yearly in Larkspur for nearly 45 years! The legendary festival hosts thousands of visitors a year with famed rides, attractions and even live jousts!
